How to Publish as a CMP Trainee
During your CMP career, you will publish your work in many forms including manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, posters, etc. You are required to acknowledge funding and resources that helped to produce these publications. Please adhere to the following guidelines.
- All CMP trainees: acknowledge the Cellular and Molecular Pathology Graduate training program and your appointing Department.
- T32 CMP trainees: if you were supported by the T32, please acknowledge the Cellular and Molecular Pathology Graduate training program along with the NIH grant number, T32 GM135119, as well as your appointing Department.
Sample Acknowledgement
“The author(s) thank the University of Wisconsin Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and NIH grant T32 GM135119, for funding and use of its facilities and services.”
You must submit the publication for inclusion in PubMed Central and obtain a PMCID. See NIH Public Access website for information about the submission process and a list of journals that automatically submit the publication to PubMed Central.
